Ferry view cottage is situated in a private and peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful countryside and is the middle one of three traditional stone Lakeland cottages.

To the front of the property is private parking for one car and a small garden area.

Upon entering the cottage you are greeted by a beautifully appointed lounge/dining room with country style oak dining table and seating for up to four guests.
The cosy lounge area has a quality sofa for two with matching chairs and a gas log effect stove for those chilly evenings which forms the focal point of the room. Coordinating cushions and snugly throws complete the soft furnishings creating the perfect space for relaxing in after a days activity's. Free Wi-Fi is available for the duration of your stay.

The country limed oak fitted kitchen gives a homely traditional feel, yet offers every convenience including built-in fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, built-in fridge with ice box, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Ironing facilities and a hair dryer are also available for guests to use.

There are two spacious bedrooms, both benefiting from luxury fitted furniture giving generous wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space with dressing table areas in both rooms. Bedroom one has a de-luxe double bed. Bedroom two has two single beds.

The large family bathroom has all the usual requirements including a modern electric shower over the bath, traditional wooden towel rail and complimentary furnishings. An airing cupboard / drying facility is accessible from this room.

For your enjoyment during your stay we have provided a colour TV in each bedroom, plus a TV, CD and DVD player in the lounge.
You will find a good selection of books and DVD's, plus a large folder with brochures and leaflets giving details of things to do, days out, places of interest and numerous guided walks throughout the Lake District.

Ferry View Cottage is dog friendly and can accommodate two small well behaved pets. Private parking is available and pricing includes all utilities and bed linen. Please note towels are not provided.
